European Christmas Markets

kingston trio Part of what makes the Christmas season so wonderful is the music. And for this show we were fortunate to have the Kingston Trio, consisting of Trio members George Grove, Bill Zorn, and Rick Dougherty, with bassist Paul Gabrielson, create original arrangements of traditional Christmas carols and record them for the show.

Besides providing festive background music for the show, we bring the Trio's wonderful sound front and center with some featured songs: White Snows of Winter, Friendly Beasts and All Through the Night. The Kingston Trio has also produced an album containing the music recorded for the show, Glad Tidings. It is truly wonderful. (And it has been submitted for a Grammy nomination.)

Glad Tidings can be purchased on this website, and at The Kingston Trio website:
